In Nairobi, a city pastor named James Wanjohi is currently the subject of a police manhunt after allegedly orchestrating a job scam that defrauded over 4,000 job seekers of approximately Sh600 million. The scam, operated through Wanjohi's company WorthStart Africa, involved charging individuals fees exceeding Sh100,000 each under the pretense of securing them overseas employment. Nairobi Regional Criminal Investigations Officer, Peter Njeru, confirmed that Pastor Wanjohi is wanted for his involvement in this large-scale fraud. DCI officers also raided his office premises as part of the investigation.
