
Zepz, the UK-based international payments startup formerly known as WorldRemit, has successfully raised $267 million from new and existing investors to fund its expansion in core African markets and beyond. The funding round was led by Accel, one of Silicon Valley's top venture capital firms. This investment will support Zepz's growth strategy and further its mission to improve money transfer services across the continent. The company was valued at $5 billion in 2021.
