The recent launch of Claude 3.7 and Grok 3 marks a notable advancement in generative AI technology, with both models demonstrating significant improvements in handling complex tasks. According to reports, these Gen3 AI models utilize ten times more computational power than GPT-4-class models, enhancing their reasoning capabilities. Users have expressed mixed impressions, with some preferring Grok 3 for everyday tasks due to its perceived smarter interactions, while others have highlighted Claude 3.7's exceptional coding abilities. Claude 3.7 is viewed as a step forward in reasoning, though some users have noted a decline in its overall user experience compared to its predecessor, Claude 3.5. The developments suggest a competitive landscape in AI, with both models aiming to refine user engagement and task efficiency.
After using Claude 3.7 for a day, I feel Grok is still better for every day use. Feels smarter and better vibe. Claude 3.7 actually seems to have a worse vibe compared to 3.5. But, it is amazing at coding. I expect Anthropic to really double down on coding moving forward.
