Generative-AI start-up Ideogram AI has released a new model, Ideogram Character, that aims to solve one of the persistent problems in text-to-image systems—keeping the same visual character consistent across multiple scenes. The company says the tool can maintain character identity using a single reference image, allowing users to generate figures in different styles, expressions and lighting without retraining. The feature is being rolled out to all users at no charge.
