Polls Show 80% Preference for GPT-4 Over GPT-4.5; 56%, 43%, and 35% Preferred GPT-4.5 in Different Scenarios

Recent polls conducted by AI expert Andrej Karpathy indicate a preference for the older GPT-4 model over the newer GPT-4.5. In a series of community tests, 80% of participants favored the responses from GPT-4, while only 56% preferred GPT-4.5 in a separate poll. Additional polls showed that 43% and 35% of respondents preferred GPT-4.5 in different scenarios. These findings suggest that the latest iteration may not meet user expectations compared to its predecessor.
