Tencent Launches Hunyuan3D 2.0 With 30x Speed Increase, 0.6B Model, and Enhanced Quality

Tencent has unveiled significant updates to its Hunyuan3D 2.0 model, which is designed for generating high-resolution textured 3D assets. The new model features a smaller 0.6 billion parameter shape maker, enhancing its speed compared to the previous 1.1 billion parameter version. Notably, the updates have resulted in a 30-fold increase in generation speed, reducing the processing time from 30 seconds to just 1 second. This improvement positions Hunyuan3D 2.0 as a leader in its category, surpassing both open-source and closed-source models in geometry details, condition alignment, and texture quality.
