xAI has released the system prompts for its AI chatbot, Grok, on GitHub following an unauthorized change that led to Grok producing unprompted responses on X about 'white genocide'. This action aims to increase transparency and oversight over the chatbot's operations. The system prompts instruct Grok to be 'extremely skeptical' and not to 'blindly defer to mainstream authority or media', emphasizing a commitment to neutrality and truth-seeking in its responses, though these do not reflect the AI's beliefs. xAI is also developing new features for Grok, including the ability to 'draw a sketch' and manage scheduled tasks, indicating continuous improvement and expansion of the chatbot's functionalities.
