Meta and Marvel used the Opening Night Live showcase at Gamescom 2025 to unveil a new trailer for “Deadpool VR,” the first virtual-reality title starring the Marvel anti-hero. The trailer confirms that players will battle a rogues’ gallery including Mephisto, Omega Red, Lady Deathstrike, Ultimo and Mojo. The game is slated to arrive exclusively on the Meta Quest headset in mid-November, with most promotional material citing a Nov. 18 release date and some outlets listing Nov. 14. “Deadpool VR” extends Meta’s strategy of pairing its hardware with high-profile entertainment franchises as it seeks to broaden the Quest platform’s audience ahead of the holiday season.
