Key sessions included talks on structured outputs for reliable applications by Sherwin Wu and Nikunj Handa from 13:15-13:45, and a community spotlight featuring swyx and Thor Web Dev. A live demo of the OpenAI Realtime API showcased ordering pineapple tarts from Ilan Bigio. OpenAI announced the opening of its Singapore office, highlighting that 1 in 4 Singaporeans are weekly active users, the highest per capita. The event concluded with an after-party at Lavo Singapore. Additionally, OpenAI hosted a hackathon in collaboration with GovTech Singapore, with the top project focusing on automated municipal services for the elderly using the Realtime API.
