Digital-collectibles firm Pudgy Penguins has established Igloo APAC—also referred to as Igloo Asia—as its dedicated Asia-Pacific operation, the company said on 7 Aug 2025. The new division, positioned as the "official home" for Pudgy Penguins in the region, will work alongside community group PenguAsia and will be led by executives Aaron Teng and the brand ambassador known as FoxyPenguinApe. Igloo APAC plans to drive growth through regional partnerships, localized products and country-specific marketing campaigns, reflecting the company’s view that Asia is one of its most important and passionate markets. Pudgy Penguins said the initiative aims to turn its penguin-themed characters and the broader Pengu ecosystem into household names across major Asian economies. The Asia build-out comes as Pudgy Penguins continues to widen its global footprint. On 10 Aug the firm announced that its PENGU token is now listed on Buenos Aires-based exchange Ripio, giving the cryptocurrency exposure to a large Latin American user base.
