The Office of the Narcotics Control Board and the Anti-Money Laundering Office will be involved in these efforts. Additionally, Thailand's government will meet with banks and agencies next week to investigate transactions allegedly funding Myanmar's junta's arms purchases. Furthermore, the Thai Deputy Finance Minister announced plans on July 19 to introduce new financial business laws to attract foreign funds. Thailand also plans to create a one-stop agency for integrated financial services to enhance its competitiveness in attracting foreign investments.
