Ford Motor Company has issued a recall for more than 103,000 F-150 pickup trucks in the United States due to defective rear axle hub bolts that may break, potentially causing vehicle rollaways or loss of drive power. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) highlighted the risk of crashes associated with this issue. Ford stated it is unaware of any injuries or accidents related to the defect and noted that the problem can be resolved by replacing the faulty bolts. This recall marks Ford's 96th in the U.S. so far in 2025. Separately, Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is recalling over 121,500 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles in the U.S. due to a defect in the front suspension knuckles, as reported by NHTSA. Additionally, Ford and Lincoln have recalled over 21,000 vehicles, including Ford Mustangs, Lincoln Nautilus, and Ford Mustang Mach-E models, for headlight issues. Ford is also recalling 41,875 U.S. vehicles for rearview camera malfunctions that may increase crash risk.
