
Nio Inc. has commenced test drives of its executive flagship sedan, the ET9, with deliveries set to begin on March 29, 2025. The company is also preparing to launch its Nio World Model (NWM) trial in April, as it seeks to enhance its position in the smart driving sector amid increasing competition from Tesla and local peers. For the first quarter of 2025, Nio has guided deliveries between 41,000 and 43,000 vehicles, which implies March deliveries could range from 13,945 to 15,945 units. In its recent financial disclosures, Nio reported a revenue guidance of CNY 12.38 billion for the first quarter, slightly above previous expectations. The company aims to achieve a gross margin of 20% for its Nio brand and 15% for its Onvo brand in the fourth quarter of 2025, while still targeting to double its sales in 2025. In a revenue comparison for the fourth quarter, Nio reported CNY 17.4 billion, compared to CNY 42.6 billion for Li Auto and CNY 14.67 billion for XPeng.
