Additionally, in a separate development, the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2025 match between India and Pakistan was cancelled due to logistical complications and scheduling conflicts. Reports indicate that the cancellation was also influenced by disagreements related to player selection and participation, particularly concerning former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi. The Indian players reportedly refused to play, leading to the match's cancellation.
