On August 15, 2024, significant withdrawals of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) from Binance were reported. In a span of 10 minutes, two wallets withdrew a total of 771 WBTC, valued at approximately $44.79 million. One of the wallets, identified as 0x774, is suspected to be linked to Amber. Additionally, another wallet, created just two days prior, withdrew 1,606 WBTC, amounting to around $93.36 million. This wallet has been noted for its rapid activity, having transferred 1,606 WBTC from Binance within the last three days. In a separate transaction, 370 WBTC, worth $21.54 million, was transferred from Binance to an unknown wallet. Furthermore, a substantial transfer of 955,589 SOL, valued at approximately $139.33 million, occurred between two unknown wallets.
