BingX and Indodax Hacks Linked to Single Wallet Address, $74 Million Stolen
Blockchain forensics have linked the recent hacks of cryptocurrency exchanges BingX and Indodax to a single wallet address. Indodax suffered a loss of $22 million, including 25 BTC and $14 million in Ethereum, while BingX was compromised via the Binance Smart Chain, resulting in a $52 million loss. In response to the incident, BingX has fully restored its operational capacity and launched the 'ShieldX' initiative to enhance its platform's security. The exchange, which serves over 10 million users worldwide, announced that deposits and withdrawals are back to normal.
