Bitget, a global cryptocurrency exchange, has entered into a three-year partnership with UNICEF Luxembourg to provide blockchain education to young people, with a particular focus on girls, across eight countries. The initiative aims to reach 300,000 participants by 2027 and is part of a broader UNICEF goal to empower 1.1 million girls with technology education by that year. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen highlighted that the program will equip unbanked youth with digital skills, including the use of stablecoins for cross-border transactions, without requiring a bank account. This collaboration also sees Bitget joining UNICEF's Game Changers Coalition, emphasizing efforts to close the global gender digital skills gap and empower future female tech leaders through blockchain technology training.
