Celestia and EigenDA are emerging as key players in the blockchain space with distinct roles and functionalities. Celestia is an L1 blockchain network aimed at building an ecosystem of applications with shared security, similar to Ethereum or Solana. It offers data availability (DA) and ordering via consensus, positioning itself as a competitor to Ethereum. EigenDA, on the other hand, is a DA service specifically designed for Ethereum rollups and functions as an offchain DA, aspiring to be a premium service in this niche. Recent partnerships, such as Payy Network's integration with Celestia, highlight the growing adoption and scalability of these technologies. Celestia is being integrated into various platforms, including Airchains' multichain zkFHE rollup framework, to enable developers to create new decentralized applications (dApps) across multiple blockchain ecosystems. EigenDA has also partnered with Conduit to enhance Ethereum infrastructure, making it easier to launch EigenDA rollups.

VITALIK BACKS OPTIMISM’S SUPERCHAIN Vitalik’s vibing hard with Optimism’s Superchain upgrade, and it's def a game-changer for Ethereum’s Layer-2. The new cross-chain setup's bringing next-level scalability and mad interoperability, letting L2s talk to each other way smoother.… https://t.co/115m70I0lA
Most compelling case for Based rollups: Way to decentralize the sequencer without 3rd party lock-in Only other options: - Full consensus bootstrap - Fees + dependency to another eco Cleanest path to liveness + avoiding regulation as an L2 h/t @sam_battenally for sharing
Are there still cases where Optimistic Rollups are more advantageous compared to zk-Rollups? Our co-founder, @sandyzkp gives her take on why she believes that all rollups will inevitably converge towards validity-proven execution. https://t.co/26gaSFjiBz
