Crypto content creator and Donate GG founder Leap kicked off a 24-hour livestream on Wednesday aimed at raising US$750,000 for Team Water, a clean-water initiative launched by YouTuber MrBeast. Donate GG, a zero-fee platform built on the Solana blockchain, had collected about US$114,000 within the first three hours of the broadcast. The company says it has already processed more than US$400,000 for various charities and hopes the latest campaign will extend access to safe drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people. The event broadens the range of digital assets accepted by Donate GG. In addition to bitcoin, ether, solana and the stablecoin USDC, the platform is now taking ApeCoin. The ApeCoin DAO has pledged to match every dollar donated in APE during the stream, up to a ceiling of US$75,000, potentially lifting the campaign’s proceeds to US$825,000 if fully met.
