Flow Blockchain has successfully completed its major Crescendo upgrade, which is the most significant update since its inception. The upgrade focuses on memory optimization using Atree Register Inlining and migrating states to the new Cadence 1.0 format. With 447 nodes running the Crescendo software and blocks processing normally, the network now offers full EVM equivalence. This upgrade aims to simplify development and enhance interoperability within the broader Web3 ecosystem. Developers are encouraged to test and validate their contracts to ensure the upgrade's success. Additionally, Flow has partnered with Google Cloud to run an execution node, enhancing the network's scalability without compromising decentralization and security. The upgrade also integrates Pyth Price Feeds, providing over 500 real-time price feeds for developers. Flow Community Rewards have been increased to 15% to celebrate the upgrade, benefiting those who locked in $FLOW before the announcement. The launch of the EVM mainnet and RPC support for Flow EVM Testnet were also announced on Crescendo day.
