
A coalition of blockchain and AI projects, including Morpheus and Filecoin Foundation, has launched the Decentralized AI Society (DAIS), a new non-profit organization. Led by Michael Casey, the former CoinDesk executive, DAIS aims to counter the monopolization of the AI industry by major tech companies such as Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, Meta, and Nvidia. The initiative seeks to leverage blockchain and crypto technologies to create more equitable AI networks. DAIS is supported by eight OGs, including significant entities like Hypercycle, and aims to challenge the dominance of tech giants in AI development.
