Nervos Network's cross-chain bridge, Force Bridge, was exploited in a cyberattack resulting in the theft of approximately $3.9 million in cryptocurrency assets. The stolen funds included 257,800 USDT, 539 ETH, 898,300 USDC, 60,400 DAI, and 0.79 WBTC. The attack involved an access control failure, and a failed exploit attempt occurred six hours prior to the successful breach. Security analysts and firms such as Cyvers Alerts and HashExOfficial have confirmed the incident and highlighted the importance of vigilance in Web3 security. The hack has raised concerns among users who reported issues with transactions involving USDC transfers on related blockchain networks.
