
Proof of Play, the developer behind the web3 game Pirate Nation, has launched a second blockchain to accommodate the game's growth. Pirate Nation, created by FarmVille co-creator Amitt Mahajan, has reached maximum capacity on its initial network, Apex. The new multichain infrastructure is now live and aims to support the increasing demand and scalability of on-chain RPGs. The launch marks a significant step in scaling Ethereum-based gaming, with Proof of Play operating two top compute chains.
