The fraudulent site mimicked the interface of a Brazilian news portal and promoted cryptocurrency-related schemes to deceive users. This action follows warnings about other scams, including a fake website impersonating the Brazilian news outlet g1 that solicited personal data and payments via PIX, and false announcements of Pearl Jam concerts in Brazil leading to fake ticket sales. The AGU's intervention aims to protect the public from these digital frauds.
