On August 20, 2025, influencer Gato Preto was involved in a car accident on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima in São Paulo, where his Porsche ran a red light and collided with a vehicle carrying an elderly man and his son. The son sustained a fractured jaw and was hospitalized. Surveillance footage captured the moment of the collision. Following the incident, Gato Preto was arrested inside his apartment but was later released from police custody. At the time of his arrest, he was reportedly unclothed and accompanied by two women.
