Hytalo Santos, a social media influencer from Paraíba, was arrested in São Paulo along with his husband, Israel Natan (also known as Euro), on August 15, 2025. They are under investigation by the Public Ministry of Paraíba and the Labor Public Ministry for crimes including human trafficking, sexual exploitation of minors, illegal artistic labor involving children, and the production and dissemination of content exposing minors on social networks. The São Paulo Civil Police executed preventive detention orders based on strong evidence and suspicion of these crimes. The presiding judge noted substantial indications of human trafficking, sexual exploitation, irregular child labor in artistic productions, and coercion of children and adolescents. Authorities revealed that Santos and his husband had planned to flee the country. The influencer reportedly destroyed evidence and obstructed the investigation. Santos faces a prison sentence ranging from four to fifteen years if convicted. During the arrest, Danynha Moraes was present, and the couple was taken to the police station amid tense circumstances. Supporters of Santos have protested against the preventive detention. The defense maintains Santos's innocence and intends to file a habeas corpus petition.

"Ela atirou em alguém? Ela tem de ser julgada. A pena tem de ser revista, mas obviamente, 5 anos de cadeia é totalmente desproporcional comparado a crimes hediondos no Brasil", diz advogado de Carla Zambelli sobre perseguição armada na véspera do 2º turno de 2022. #Estúdioi ➡ https://t.co/4bsRqobwKr
