
Nu Holdings, the parent company of Brazilian digital lender Nubank, said Chief Executive Officer David Vélez sold 33 million Class A shares on 18 August through his investment vehicle Rua California Ltd. The disposal represents about 3.5 percent of Vélez’s holdings and roughly 0.7 percent of the company’s total shares outstanding. In a statement, the company said the transaction was carried out for personal asset-planning purposes.
