Barclays is seeking to significantly reduce a $720 million lawsuit filed by UK investors, accusing the bank of misleading the market about its private 'dark pool' trading platforms. On Monday, Barclays asked London's High Court to more than halve the lawsuit to 560 million pounds. The lawsuit, which involves hundreds of investors, claims that Barclays' actions led to a loss of more than 2 billion pounds in the bank's value in 2014. Barclays is also attempting to block passive funds from participating in the investor lawsuit.
