A former footballer who was once on the books of Atletico Madrid has been jailed for 11 years for his role in supplying cocaine, ketamine, and cannabis to south London gangs. Additionally, a former company director who flew €8.4 million worth of cocaine from France into Ireland two years ago has also been sentenced to eleven years in prison. In separate incidents, two drug dealers caught with a haul of Class A drugs in a car have been jailed. Moreover, a drug dealer who recruited children has been jailed.
