Nine men have been jailed for their involvement in a £53 million cocaine supply plot spanning 15 months. The group was part of a 'Amazon-style' cocaine-trafficking gang, with some members sentenced to over 100 years. Additionally, an eighth person was jailed for a £1 billion frozen chicken box drug haul, and another man was imprisoned for his role in a £1.59 billion plot to smuggle cocaine in frozen chicken pallets. Irish police have also exposed an international drug smuggling network in the country and arrested divers.
