A series of drug-related arrests and seizures have occurred across the UK. Fourteen people were arrested after police seized £500,000 of drugs following a six-month inquiry. Another operation led to the arrest of a man and the seizure of £1.8m of cocaine. Additionally, a man was jailed for his role in a drugs network worth £360m. Two men were jailed after an investigation into a drug smuggling operation worth £10m a year. Police also netted a drug stash after a dealer jumped into a river during a chase in Cambridgeshire. Four individuals were convicted in a cannabis product supply plot. A drug dealer was jailed after escaping from a hospital.
