
Ofcom, the UK's communications regulator, has launched an investigation into OnlyFans to determine if the platform has adequate age-verification systems to prevent children from accessing pornographic content. The investigation was prompted by concerns that OnlyFans' current measures may not sufficiently protect minors from exposure to adult content. This probe follows a review of the platform's response to formal information requests by Ofcom, raising questions about the effectiveness of its safeguards against underage access.
