ACC Makes Sixth Acquisition, Buys Majority Stake in DKC

Acceleration Community of Companies (ACC) has acquired a majority stake in Dan Klores Communications (DKC), a scrappy PR firm and one of the last big independent public relations firms. The acquisition marks ACC's sixth deal and is backed by Solace Capital and Verance Capital. The deal aims to combine ACC's marketing services expertise with DKC's strengths in crisis communication and sports representation. DKC has hinted at expanding its sports practice following the acquisition.
