The broader market indices have reached new highs, with 48 small-cap stocks delivering double-digit gains. This upward trend was supported by positive global market cues, leading to the Nifty gaining 1.8% for the third consecutive week. Midcaps also recorded new highs. Experts suggest that the Nifty 50 may move towards the 26,500-26,600 zone, provided it defends the crucial 25,900-25,800 levels. The FII long-short ratio indicates potential consolidation in the coming sessions, according to SBI Securities' Sudeep Shah.
