PayPal has announced a partnership with Global Payments to enhance the checkout experience for U.S. merchants. This collaboration aims to improve conversion rates and consumer shopping experiences by providing advanced PayPal and Venmo branded checkout solutions, alongside accelerated guest checkout through Fastlane by PayPal. As part of its Build On Hackathon, PayPal is also featuring its U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin, PYUSD, with a total of $11,500 in prizes available. Additionally, QuickNode highlighted Blockscout, a provider of enhanced blockchain APIs, and Odos, a leading DeFi aggregator, each participating in the hackathon with $1,000 and $10,000 in prizes, respectively. Analysts have been bullish on PayPal's stock, with price targets being raised ahead of the company's third-quarter earnings report scheduled for October 29.
