Chilean authorities have detained three army corporals and one civilian in Puerto Aysén on charges of drug trafficking. The suspects were apprehended after collecting a package containing various drugs at a Chilexpress location. The seized substances include cocaine, ketamine, methamphetamine pills, MDMA, Xanax, psilocybin, and a synthetic drug known as “Tusi,” with an estimated street value of $34,000. Chile's Minister of Defense, Adriana Delpiano, condemned the incident as "completely unacceptable." The arrests come amid reports of increasing ketamine seizures in Chile, with regional law enforcement monitoring the rise in drug trafficking activities. Similar drug enforcement operations have also been reported internationally, including large seizures in Istanbul and Athens, as well as arrests in Scottsdale, Arizona.
