China and Canada Hold ‘Frank’ Trade Talks in Ottawa

China’s chief trade negotiator, Li Chenggang, held a series of meetings with senior Canadian officials in Ottawa this week, co-chairing the China-Canada Economic and Trade Committee on 28 August. China’s Commerce Ministry said the two sides conducted “frank, pragmatic and constructive” discussions aimed at deepening bilateral economic and trade ties.
