China has unveiled several advanced military technologies aimed at enhancing its defense and offensive capabilities, particularly against drone threats and missile attacks. The new FK-3000 short-range air defense system, equipped with two 30mm automatic cannons and up to 96 micro missiles, is designed to counter low-altitude drone swarms with a firing range between 300 meters and 12 kilometers. Additionally, high-power microwave weapons capable of disabling and damaging drone electronics have entered service with the People's Liberation Army (PLA). China also showcased mobile mockups of the American HIMARS missile system during PLA drills, painted to resemble Taiwan's HIMARS, signaling preparations for potential regional conflicts. Furthermore, China has deployed the HQ-29 anti-ballistic missile with an effective ceiling of over 600 kilometers against maneuvering warheads and a slant range of 2,000 kilometers, which can serve both defensive and offensive purposes. The country also revealed a 750mm rocket artillery system with an effective range of 600 kilometers. In a separate cultural event, a drone show illuminated the night sky over the historic Zojoji Temple, while a drone football match was held at West Kowloon Station to promote China’s 15th National Games and engage youth in Hong Kong. The drone performances included a tribute to NBA star Stephen Curry, featuring his iconic three-point shot and Good Night gesture.
