China has unveiled a comprehensive strategy to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) nationwide over the next decade, aiming to establish itself as a global AI cooperation hub. The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) outlined plans to promote data sharing, facilitate orderly human capital circulation, and reduce research and development costs to foster AI innovation. Additionally, China intends to introduce innovative subsidies for AI product purchases. To ensure sustainable growth, Beijing emphasized the importance of preventing excessive competition in the rapidly expanding AI sector to avoid wasteful investment. These measures reflect China's ambition to position AI as a central pillar of its economy while maintaining orderly development and international collaboration.
