Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Pakistani Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir in Islamabad to discuss bilateral relations. Following the meeting, Field Marshal Munir conducted a visit to Turbat in Pakistan's Balochistan province, where he reviewed the security situation and ongoing development projects. The Pakistani military reaffirmed its commitment to the prosperity and sustainable development of the people of Balochistan. The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson reiterated that China remains Pakistan's most reliable partner and strong supporter. Additionally, a meeting chaired by Pakistan's Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi took place at the CDA headquarters.
