A newly identified zero-day vulnerability in Cisco's NX-OS software, used in Nexus-series switches, has been exploited by a China-linked threat group known as Velvet Ant. This zero-day vulnerability allows attackers to execute commands as root undetected and deliver custom malware. The attacks, which began in April, have raised significant cybersecurity concerns.
