The combined turnover on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges exceeded 1 trillion yuan. Additionally, China's National Bureau of Statistics reported that the added value of the wholesale and retail industry from January to March reached 3.3 trillion yuan, marking a 5.8% year-on-year increase. The E Fund CSI HK Connect China 100 ETF experienced a limit-up rise for the third consecutive day, reaching a new 20-day high with a trading volume of 182 million yuan. Meanwhile, the Nikkei index in Tokyo fell by more than 1%.
