
Li Dong, a former deputy general manager of the National Energy Investment Group, was sentenced to life imprisonment on Tuesday for accepting bribes. The bribes amounted to over 108 million yuan ($15 million). The sentencing was reported by state television and confirmed by various sources. Li Dong was formerly associated with CHN Energy Investment Group, also known as China Energy Investment Corp.
