Vanke Reports First Half-Year Loss In More Than Two Decades - BBG https://t.co/gMnRKkzmpf

Ganfeng Lithium, a major player in the battery-materials sector, announced a delay in capital expenditure on projects not yielding significant near-term returns after reporting a first-half net loss of CNY760 million (USD107 million). This marks a significant shift from a net profit of CNY5.9 billion (USD821 million) in the same period last year. The loss is attributed to the fair value impairment of its investment in Australia's Pilbara Minerals. Despite the financial setback, Ganfeng's stock saw a rise. This is the first semi-annual loss for the company since its listing in 2010.
