Hong Kong's first six spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs launched with a total trading volume of $11 million on their debut day, significantly underperforming compared to the U.S. Bitcoin ETFs which saw $4.6 billion on their first day. The ETFs, managed by China Asset Management, Harvest Global, Bosera, and HashKey, attracted strong initial inflows, with China Asset Management alone drawing HK$1.1 billion. Despite the lower than expected trading volumes and Bitcoin falling below $62,000, the launch marks a significant step in crypto adoption in Asia.
