Li Auto announced that it achieved a total of 500,000 vehicle deliveries in 2024, reaching this milestone on December 31. However, this figure fell short of the company's initial target of 800,000 deliveries for the year. In the fourth quarter, Li Auto delivered 158,696 vehicles, which was below its guidance range of 160,000 to 170,000 units. Despite delivering a record 58,513 vehicles in December, the quarterly total did not meet expectations. The company continues to rely heavily on its L6 model and is expected to face increased competition in the coming year. In contrast, other electric vehicle manufacturers in China, such as Nio and Xpeng, reported strong delivery numbers for December, with Nio delivering 31,138 vehicles and Xpeng achieving 91,507 deliveries in the fourth quarter, surpassing its guidance.
