South Korea's benchmark KOSPI index rebounded strongly, climbing 1.1% to 3,164.43 points, supported by gains in technology and automotive stocks such as Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motor. Australia's ASX 200 also surged past 9,000 points for the first time, closing at a record high of 9,019.10 amid favorable economic conditions. Commodity prices in China showed mixed movements, with increases in poly silicon, coking coal, iron ore, steel rebars, crude oil, silver, gold, aluminum, zinc, and copper. Overall, the region's equity markets demonstrated resilience and upward momentum during this period.
