Shenzhen, a key technology hub in Guangdong Province, has announced an action plan to enhance its artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics sectors. The plan aims to expand the AI terminal industry to a scale of 1 trillion yuan (approximately $139.38 billion) by 2026, as part of a broader strategy to integrate AI technology into various applications. The city is targeting the establishment of over 1,200 robotics firms and aims for an industry scale exceeding 100 billion yuan. Additionally, Shenzhen is launching a 10 billion yuan fund to foster innovation in AI and robotics. This initiative aligns with China's national goals to boost support for AI applications and venture capital investments, positioning Shenzhen as a leader in the global AI and robotics industries.
