CNA Financial reported its fourth quarter earnings for 2024, surpassing estimates with an adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.25, exceeding the expected $1.21. The company generated revenues of $3.69 billion, also above the forecast of $3.62 billion. Despite a net income of $21 million, which includes a $290 million after-tax loss from a pension settlement, core income remained stable at $342 million. This compares to a net income of $367 million in the same quarter last year. The operating margin for the quarter was recorded at 0.6%.
