
Dalmia Bharat reported a significant decline in its second-quarter earnings for the fiscal year 2024-25. The company's net profit fell by 60.5% year-on-year to ₹49 crore, down from ₹124 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal. Revenue also declined by 2.1% to ₹3,087 crore, compared to ₹3,153 crore in the previous year. The earnings missed the CNBC-TV18 poll estimate of ₹75 crore. PAT was down 60.2%. Despite the downturn, Dalmia Bharat management maintained their guidance of growing at 1.5 times the industry growth rate, highlighting key factors such as volumes, prices, and EBITDA.
